I have been photographing with Nyoman Pujawan for 4 consecutive days which was an outstanding cultural and photogenic experience. We have been to Mass Cremation Ceremonies in Klungkung and Dukeh, a Malasti (Purification Ceremony to get holy water from the Ocean) at Mascati Beach, shooting Markets around Kintamani with a lot of Portrait Photography, photographing Pura Ulun Danu Temple at Bratan Lake and Landscape with Rice Fields and Mount Batur as well as Balinese Dancers. Nyoman is not only one of the friendliest persons I have ever met but also a phantastic photographer. He taught me a lot about better composition, the search for light and several technical aspects of photography and optimized camera settings. It has been a real pleasure being with him and I can only encourage everyone going shooting with him (while David Metcalf was in Australia with his family). At the end it felt like saying good bye to a good old friend.
