Durant deux jours, Suzanne Porter, photojournaliste et fondatrice de la CLIK Gallery vous enseignera les fondamentaux techniques et créatifs pour raconter une histoire à travers vos photos.

Programme

Vendredi après-midi

Nous nous retrouverons au gîte, situé à moins d’une heure de Grenoble. Pour ceux qui arrivent tôt, une balade photographique sera proposée pour commencer à explorer les environs. Nous visiterons une scierie traditionnelle, où nous aurons l’opportunité d’observer et de photographier les techniques artisanales du travail du bois.

Une fois tous les participants installés, nous partagerons un dîner convivial suivi d’un tour de table pour faire connaissance et discuter des attentes de chacun pour ce stage. Après le dîner, Suzanne animera un atelier de narration visuelle et d’editing : comment utiliser les principes de la photographie pour obtenir des images percutantes et comment sélectionner vos meilleures images pour créer un reportage cohérent...

Samedi matin

Après le petit-déjeuner, départ pour une randonnée guidée en quête du bouquetin, accompagnés d’une guide de montagne. Cette sortie vous permettra de capturer la faune et la flore dans leur environnement naturel, tout en perfectionnant votre regard et votre approche photographique.

Samedi après-midi

L’après-midi sera consacré à la rencontre d’artisans locaux tels qu’un forgeron, un ébéniste et un potier, entre autres. Ce reportage photographique vous apprendra à approcher vos sujets avec sensibilité, à exploiter la lumière naturelle et à structurer une narration visuelle forte.

Vous aurez ensuite du temps libre pour travailler sur vos images avant le dîner.

Dimanche

Après le petit-déjeuner, nous visiterons une ferme locale pour un dernier exercice de reportage. Un déjeuner pique-nique, et vous serez libre de repartir chez vous....

Informations pratiques

Le tarif comprend :

✅ L’hébergement en chambre partagée (deux lits)

✅ Tous les repas : petit-déjeuner, dîner et déjeuner sous forme de pique-nique

🚫 Les boissons, souvenirs et pourboires restent à votre charge.

Nous pouvons organiser un covoiturage au départ de la galerie CLIK le vendredi après-midi vers 15h pour faciliter le transport jusqu’au gîte. Si vous souhaitez arriver plus tard, vous pouvez nous rejoindre avec votre propre voiture.

Nous favoriserons les déplacements à pied depuis le gîte, mais il est possible que nous ayons besoin de voitures pour certains trajets.

Aucune condition physique particulière n’est requise...

In collaboration with Suzanne Porter, photojournalist and founder of Clik-Trip and CLIK Gallery in Grenoble.

Over two days, Suzanne will teach you the technical and creative fundamentals needed to tell a story through your photographs.

Program

Friday Afternoon

We will meet at the gîte, located less than an hour from Grenoble. For those arriving early, a photographic walk will be offered to begin exploring the surroundings. We will visit a traditional sawmill, where we will have the opportunity to observe and photograph the artisanal woodcraft techniques.

Once all the participants are settled in, we will share a friendly dinner followed by a roundtable to get to know each other and discuss everyone’s expectations for the workshop. After dinner, Suzanne will lead a visual storytelling and editing workshop: how to use photographic principles to create impactful images and how to select your best images to craft a coherent photo story...

Saturday Morning

After breakfast, we will depart for a guided hike in search of the ibex, accompanied by a mountain guide. This outing will allow you to capture wildlife and flora in their natural environment, while refining your eye and photographic approach.

Saturday Afternoon

The afternoon will be dedicated to meeting local artisans, such as a blacksmith, a cabinetmaker, and a potter, among others. This photographic reportage will teach you how to approach your subjects with sensitivity, make use of natural light, and structure a strong visual narrative.

You will then have free time to work on your images before dinner.

Sunday

After breakfast, we will visit a local farm for the final reportage exercise. A picnic lunch will follow, and you will be free to depart back home...

Practical Information

The price includes:

✅ Shared accommodation (two beds per room)

✅ All meals: breakfast, dinner, and a picnic lunch

🚫 Drinks, souvenirs, and tips are not included and remain your responsibility.

We can arrange carpooling from the CLIK Gallery on Friday afternoon at 3 PM to make transportation to the gîte easier. If you prefer to arrive later, you can join us with your own car.

We will encourage walking from the gîte, but it is possible that we may need cars for certain trips.
