Based in a luxury lodge in the middle of the Costa Rican Rainforest, every day we will see different techniques of photography to be used and applied especially for reptiles and amphibians, which are plentiful in the area. We will explore macro techniques, tele photo and wide angle (habitat) shots, as well as the better way to make great shots without disturbing the animals. Every day we will have theory sessions, and practical field walks at night and day to practice the new learned techniques.
Some of the species we can expect to see and photograph are, emerald basilisks, green iguanas, spectacled caimans, American crocodiles (in the main river), different kinds of harmless snakes, some vipers, lizards like the helmeted basilisk, and frogs like the stunning red eye treefrog, different glassfrogs, two species of poison frogs, etc.
This great emplacement is the perfect combination of a Rainforest (we can be deep into it after half hour walking) and after, have a great lunch or dinner and enjoy a comfortable accommodation.
