Description

Barcelona is a city of contrasts, we live by the Mediterranean sea and enjoy the beach, but we also live in a very modern and sophisticated place. We live near the archeological site of Barcino from the 1st century A.D. but we live in smart buildings created to be energetically efficient. There is more to Barcelona than Gaudí and in this tour I am willing to prove it to you. Since I know the city very well I can offer different experiences based on your preferences. Each neighbourhood has its own identity and each one is interesting in a particular way. We can walk through the Barceloneta, which originally used to be the fishermen´s neighbourhood, where the sea is the main reference, yet we will find an old town with narrow picturesque streets next to modern buildings designed by world famous architects. The newest city inside the city is still being built in the old neighborhood of Glories and Poble Nou. Here technology and design are combined to create one of the most amazing urban projects again with the presence of very well known international architects. These are just two examples, but there are many other parts of the city to visit.

The tours are planned for two and a half hours and are held twice a day, in the morning with the nice early light and during the evening time when the light gets golden and dim. The timings vary depending on the season.
