Florence - the story behind the pictures during COVID-19 Photography Lectures

Florence-born, Edoardo was commissioned by the Florence Municipality to document his hometown during lockdown. This unique access made for some haunting images and stories of a country most affected by COVID-19. Edoardo has met many important international photographers and the advice and teachings of Steve McCurry on the study of light were valuable lessons and left an indelible mark on his way to shoot. In 2019 he joined the team of National Geographic Expeditions photographers.
