Description
Petra was the capital of the Nabatean empire and a thriving center of trade from 400 BC to around 100 AD and became the Lost City until Burckhardt discovered Petra on August 22, 1812. It had remained hidden from western eyes for hundreds of years. It had faded from memory, and local Bedouins kept the whole of Wadi Musa – where Petra is situated – guarded against intruders.
We were born from these Bedouin tribes. When we were boys, our family would often take our rest and relaxation in the caves of the ancient city of Petra, which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Until today, Petra lies at the heart of any trip to Jordan. It is from here that we blend our traditions of hospitality to welcome you and show you some of our past, etched into the rose-red rocks, and dreams for our future.
Beyond our beloved Petra, there is an entire magical country waiting to be explored. From the fascinating Dead Sea, where you float to your heart’s content, to the magical cities of the Decapolis, where you wander along the old caravan routes that connected the East to the West. From the fertile green highlands of the North and the turquoise waters of the south, if it were up to us, we’d like to show you all our treasures. We invite you to Experience the Kingdom of Time and to fall in love with your very own Paramour. And to return time after time, again and again.
We can start early in the morning and keep going until the sunset to make the most of the available light. Price is for up to 4 people.

My photo tour went extremely well and I can strongly recommend going shooting Sultan.
The day with Sultan was amazing as he took me to some of the most spectacular spots for sunrise and sunset photography in Wadi Rum with his jeep and interesting viewpoints during the day.He is a truely service oriented and lovely person even thinking about the fact that I could not have breakfast and lunch so that he had prepared both breakfast and lunch which he had cooked by himself. During sunrise and sunset he made open fires cooking tea and as he was dressed as a Beduin this allowed me to take very atmospheric pictures. He also attracted several wild camels so that I could shoot those.
