About your local photographer

I am a Ghanaian born travel documentary photographer exploring the ceaseless possibilities of the photographic medium, and documenting spaces I find myself through image making. Attracted to the artistic presentation and journalistic reportage of human conditions with a keen interest in cultural diversity.

Awards, Publications, Exhibitions etc

2018 winner of National Geographic Award at Addis Foto Festival in Ethiopia. Awarded National Geographic Grant in 2019 to become a National Geographic Explorer.
I have worked for dozens of diverse magazines and firms including Vogue Runway Africa, Pelham Communications, b.Inspired Magazine, A2Z Communications, Gallery 1957.
Works exhibited at World Press Photo exhibition in DuPont Circle, Washington. Works exhibited at KANA studios in Ethiopia. Featured in the Northern Ghana Life Project – a joint project by Noorderlicht and Nuku Studios.
A member of APJD – African Photojournalist Database, a joint project between World Press Photo and Everyday Africa.
